What We Do | Underbanked Solutions Exchange
The Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI) founded the Underbanked Solutions Exchange in 2008 to provide mid-sized banks and credit unions the opportunity to learn the latest best practices, engage in extensive knowledge-sharing with peer institutions and build relationships with pioneering service providers. Through this collaborative exchange, banks gain access to the tools and connections needed to develop and expand a portfolio of products and services to implement viable underbanked solutions.
By participating in this unique venue, banks and credit unions acquire knowledge about emerging products, research, services and delivery systems, and insight into cutting-edge technology that will enable them to implement viable underbanked solutions. The Exchange offers an environment where participants can engage in knowledgeable, action-oriented discussions and share thoughts, ideas, questions, and experiences with peer institutions and industry leaders committed to serving the underbanked.
Participating institutions attend twice-yearly meetings and webinars, designed to provide learning opportunities from case studies, give real-world, tested options, and actively engage thinking on how to use existing enterprise strategies to attract, maintain and transform the underbanked market. Each company designates one to two senior executives as its representatives to increase internal understanding and support for underbanked initiatives.
Underbanked Solutions Exchange participating institutions include:
- Carver Federal Savings Bank
- Kinecta Federal Credit Union
- Old National Bank
- San Antonio National Bank
- ShoreBank
- ESL Federal Credit Union
