The Financial Capability Institute is designed to assist high-performing and large-scale nonprofits with the distribution of high-quality financial products to underserved consumers in partnership with financial services providers.
The Institute grew out of recognition that nonprofit organizations are increasingly looking for new and more effective approaches to improve the financial capability of their clients. At the same time, many for-profit financial service companies are looking for more effective channels to reach underserved consumers with their products and services.
Enter CFSI’s Financial Capability Institute. Through in-person workshops, one-on-one consulting and in 2012, interactive, self-guided online tools, CFSI is helping to build a pipeline of nonprofit organizations that embrace the financial capability framework and are well prepared to strategically partner with financial service companies to link their clients with both relevant, timely, actionable, and ongoing guidance and high-quality financial products.
Over the years, CFSI has provided support to numerious nonprofit efforts to distribute savings, credit building and transactional products and build strategic partnerships with providers. Consequently, we have developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise about best practices that we look forward to sharing with participants of the Institute.
