Visa announced it's new offering aimed to help underbanked in developing countries. Visa will be launching a prepaid mobile product to its customers in collaboration with MTN Mobile money (part of MTN Group, a telecommunications provider in Africa).
This product will enable account holders to send funds to each other, send international remittances, make purchases, or withdraw funds. Africa, Asia and Latin America are the first markets for the product.
