Lorie Bonham is the Vice President, Marketing and Communication for the Center for Financial Services Innovation.  In this position, she is responsible for leading efforts to build awareness and understanding of the needs of underbanked consumers, and the innovative providers and most promising strategies for serving them.  She proactively identifies and successfully leverages opportunities where communication initiatives can advance organization and programmatic strategies, CFSI missions and/or address issues related to the financially underserved.
 
Prior to joining CFSI, Ms. Bonham was a Communication Specialist for Group Risk Management at ABN AMRO Bank, The Netherlands, where she was responsible for advising and assisting senior management on numerous aspects of internal communication.  Before her experience with ABN AMRO Bank, Ms. Bonham served in numerous marketing and sales positions for a Dutch electronics company where she managed global marketing strategies, developed electronic communication strategies and started a complete sales and support office for their Australian market.
 
Ms. Bonham holds an M.A. in Communication from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.  She has a B.A. in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia.  Ms. Bonham is a member of the National and Chicago Chapters of PRSA.
