Kate Marshall Dole is an Analyst, Innovation and Research, at the Center for Financial Services Innovation. In this position, Ms. Dole conducts research to monitor and analyze emerging trends and innovations in the financial services industry. She is responsible for producing content for internal and external dissemination including white papers, best practice studies, and policy briefs. Ms. Dole also works with industry partners and other constituents on a wide range of projects aimed at developing and sharing CFSI’s expertise on underbanked consumers and their use of financial services.
Prior to joining CFSI, Ms. Dole was a sell-side equity research analyst with Robert W. Baird, a middle-market financial services firm. In this role, she conducted fundamental research on retail industry stocks, identifying key factors driving stock performance and evaluating retail industry data. While at Baird, Ms. Dole completed Level III of the CFA (chartered financial analyst) program. Before Baird, Ms. Dole worked as a financial writer for Calamos Investments, an asset management firm based in Chicago’s western suburbs.
Ms. Dole earned a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a B.S. degree, cum laude, from Tufts University.
